The AD70 is a cast refractory cement oven that arrives as a kit. Every oven component is included except the exterior render, which is the point of the design: you assemble the oven, then clad it to suit the yard.

What you supply

The kit contains the oven, not the render. Have these on hand before delivery day.

Materials: three 20kg buckets of yellow bricklayer's sand, one 20kg bag of lite cement containing lime, one 20kg bag of granite fines (crushed granite), and 800ml of Bondcrete or equivalent bonding agent for the final mix.

Tools: measuring tape, spirit level, trowel, rendering float, sponge, tin snips, a sharp knife, and kitchen foil.

What DIY means on this oven

This is not a from-scratch masonry build. The dome, deck, and flue are cast and finished at the factory, so your work is assembly and then the render. Line up a second set of hands, because refractory cement sections are heavy.

Sizing against the other Tuscany kits

WPPO builds this line in several sizes. The AD70 at 38 x 37 x 23 is the compact one. Above it sit the 50 x 39 x 25 model and the Kit 100 at 55 x 52 x 31. All assemble the same way and take about the same time.

Delivery

Ships factory direct from WPPO on a pallet. Freight delivery applies. Inspect the shipment before signing and note any damage on the delivery receipt.
